How To Stop Your Stinking Thinking Today

Do you have stinkin’ thinkin’?

Are you always focusing on the negative first?

Does your attitude need an overhaul sometimes?

Do you complain when things don’t go as planned?

Watch the video below and I will give you 3 ways that have helped me.

  1. Track it. If you start journaling every time you are negative, it will make you very aware of how much negativity really is there. What you track you can work on.
  2. Listen to or read positive things every single day. There is so much negative out there that we need to replace it with positive. This could be reading personal development books or even just motivational/inspirational quotes or listening to a positive podcast.
  3. Join our FREE 7 Day No Complaining Challenge. This is an ongoing challenge. The goal is to get 7 days in a row of no complaining. It’s harder than you think folks! Could take weeks or months to get 7 days in a row, and that’s OK. It’s about progress not perfection. Join us here.

Getting Past the Fear of Rejection

Do you hate hearing the word “no”?

Me too…

But if you’re in a home business, you better get used to it. It is going to take a lot of no’s to get the yeses.

Watch this video to see what changed it all for me.

So as you are prospecting, stop being so addicted to the outcome, stop taking it personally, and get over yourself. Your future self will thank you.

Unclear Vision Leads to Distraction

Are you in a home business but get easily distracted with other things?

Do you easily lose motivation?

Do you lose focus and stop doing the IPA’s (Income Producing Activities)?

Instead of doing the work you do things like:

  • Scroll FB for long periods of time
  • Watch TV when you should be working
  • Organize your desk or files or post its or whatever
  • Or do just about anything you can think of to not have to do the actual work

Anyone?  I know these are real struggles, because I have been through every one of them.

I finally discovered something a few years ago. When we are not focused, not motivated and letting distractions rule us, we have either forgotten our vision and our why or we simple never had a clear one to start with.

So, think back to why you started your home business in the first place. What was your ‘why’? Was it to be able to quit your job and stay home with the kids, retire your spouse, travel more, pay off debt? What was that driving force behind you starting a home business in the first place?

Then write it down. Set new goals. If your vision and why isn’t clear, then take some time to get it clear. Think long and hard about what you want in life, then write it down. Hang it up somewhere and look at it often. That’s what will keep you going when the hard times hit. That’s what will keep you focused and motivated when the distractions come.

What do you want from this life?  When you figure that out, and it’s clear, the distractions will no longer get in the way.

Healthier Living is Possible Even If You’re Addicted to Junk

How do you learn to live a healthier lifestyle when your body is addicted to eating junk food?   How do we eat an elephant? One bite at a time? Well, this is the opposite. One LESS bite at a time. LOL.

So, I’ve been asked by quite a few people lately how I’ve been able to cut out a lot of bad foods and replace with healthier options. For instance, in our home we no longer eat pasta. We eat zucchini and spaghetti squash and cauliflower instead. Was that an overnight change? Heck no!

So maybe you are where I was 2 years ago. Maybe, like me before, you drink soda daily, or eat out 2-3 times a week, or maybe Little Debbie is your best friend like she was mine. Turns out she was an enabler who I needed to remove from my life…. 😀

Maybe you work a lot like I did and it’s just easier to throw a frozen pizza in the oven or some bagel bites in the microwave? Yep, that was us. How did we change it? One small step at a time.

You can too. Small steps lead to big progress over time.

This same concept applies to every area of our lives. If you are wanting to lose weight, stop trying to find the fast, easy way. If you want to be healthy in every way, stop looking for quick fixes. Same applies to your home business. If you want to succeed, start making small steps toward success, without giving up when it doesn’t work in 30 days.

If you are ready to either start making those small steps toward better health or weight loss, or even starting your own business, I can help. Take the first step HERE.

Screw It, Do It

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a network marketing training conference in Orlando. This event made a huge impact on my mindset to say the least. I realized there have been quite a few things holding me back in my home business. Much of that was fear of people. Fear of what people will think. Fear of failing again. Just fear.

One of the speakers who has been in the industry 40 years, Jeff Altgilbers, said something that has stuck with me all week. It’s so simple yet so powerful. Screw it, do it. When you are afraid: screw it, do it. When you don’t want to approach people with your opportunity because you think they will think you’re stupid, or a scam, or pyramid scheme, or whatever. Screw it, do it.

We have to learn to just do it afraid if we want the kind of success that will impact thousands of lives.

Watch this video on the power of decision.

There are 5 things that are necessary to succeed in a home business. Watch below to see what they are.

I hope this was valuable to someone. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
