How Interact Quizzes Can Help Build Your Brand

How many times have you been on Facebook and saw a quiz?

It may have been a quiz about “What Spirit Animal Are You?” or maybe “What Female Celebrity Would You Be?” or maybe “Do You Have What It Takes to Succeed In Network Marketing?”. There is a quiz for everything it seems. And people love them.

Now, let’s get honest. How many times have you personally taken a quiz on social media? And why did you take the quiz? Because they’re fun right?

When I was first approached by Interact about becoming a partner, I was seriously unsure if I wanted to, mainly because I had never heard of quizzes for marketing. However, after we had our first video call, I knew there was something to this quiz thing. Then, I began researching a bit and discovered that quizzes are a fantastic way to generate leads and build my list. Many marketers are already building their email list using this quiz platform. So at that point, I was in.

Quizzes are the latest in online marketing and can help you build your email list quickly by allowing you to integrate your email marketing service into the quiz. I personally use Aweber. In this first video, I show you just a little about the company I recently partnered with, Interact , and how to create a quiz quickly using a quiz template that is provided.

Interact is an excellent way to build quizzes quickly with many pre-made quiz templates to choose from. Whether you want to do a quiz about travel, career, blogging, health and fitness, etc., there are quiz templates there and waiting for you to tweak to fit you.

I am working on a new quiz that I plan to send out to all social media sites by Monday. I am excited about the possibilities this has to offer. I am grateful to have found Interact and am excited for the ways it will help grow my business this year.

Most of us growing up in today’s churches are taught similar concepts. Not all churches, but the Christian society overall. Now, I do not think it is purposeful, I think it is just the mindset of most people and it is passed on from the pulpit. People take verses from the Bible and twist them. Such as money is the root of all evil. No. Not true. The love of money (greed) is the root of all evil.

However, most people who have never had a lot of wealth assume that wealthy people are greedy people. Money does not make you greedy. Money simply amplifies who you already are. If you are selfish and stingy while you are poor, that will likely not change after you’re rich. If you are poor but give every extra dime you have to help someone else, you would probably give much more. Not only that, but how many more people could you bless if you had more money?

Money isn’t the issue. The heart is the issue.

Wherever your heart is, money will amplify that. If you won’t pay your tithes now when you make $2000 a month, will you really pay them when you are making $100,000 a month?  That’s a serious question to ask yourself and something we will discuss in the Law of Promotion: Being Faithful with the Little Things in our email course.

Success is very possible and you are worthy of it! God calls you worthy!

If you have a strong desire to build a business and live financially free, God put that desire there! God wants you to succeed. But he will not drop it in our laps. We have to pray, trust and believe. And then we also have to take action.

Vision Renewed : Women With Purpose in Network Marketing

Why did I change my website and focus to Vision Renewed: Women With Purpose?

So, I have been praying a lot lately about my business and what direction I need to go. I knew I still wanted to help struggling home business owners get over hurdles and past excuses and into success, but I never really narrowed it down more.

So, I was asked a question last Thursday by one of my leaders, Angela Brooks. She asked me who I wanted to reach. I said struggling network marketers. She very quickly reminded me that it needed to be more specific. I needed to narrow it down. S

I had to really think and get more focused on who I really wanted to reach out to and help. So, as I was praying Friday morning, I asked God who I needed to help, because there are literally millions of struggling network marketers, and I asked Him to help me be more specific.

And he gave me that answer. Just like He always does when we actually listen. Here is what He said. My focus needs to be on Christian women that are struggling in a home business, not just struggling because of money issues or not enough sales, but struggling to have belief that they can succeed because of things the church in general has taught us. Things like money is the root of all evil, not true, or that the wealthy are greedy, not true, tor that to be a humble Christian you can’t be rich, not true.

Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.

Here’s the thing. If we are broke, we cannot help others. God says to feed the orphans and the widows and the poor, but it’s hard to give to charity when we ourselves are a charity case. So Vision Renewed: Women With Purpose was created to help women break those false beliefs off their businesses and to guide her toward success using God’s biblical laws in our businesses.

There are laws of success and those who follow them succeed in their business.

I am working on an email course that I hope to release next month called Vision Renewed: Activating God’s Laws of Success in Your Business and In Your Life. I’m really excited about that. I will do another blog post closer to the release date.

Who You Become On The Way To Success

Is it really true that who you become on the way to success is more important than the money you make? Actually, yes, very true. I used to think this was crazy. I just wanted to make money in business and have that time and money freedom. I thought it was silly to think me changing would change my successes.

Who you become on the way to success really is more important than the money you make. Now, you may disagree. And that’s OK because so did I.

But something I’ve come to realize and believe is that real success in life requires a mindset shift. If we truly want things to change, we have to change. And change is a choice. We can choose to complain, blame, gossip, judge and control. We can also choose to love and accept instead.

Industry trainer, and one of my business mentors over the last 9 years,  Dani Johnson says Income Follows Your Personal Growth. And for years I had heard her say that, but I am not sure if I believed it. I didn’t really work on me as much as I should have. Honestly I didn’t really want to work on me. I continued to judge, blame, gossip, try to control, and much more. And I was darn comfortable there in that place. Now, I am not saying I never do those things now, I am just saying I am a work in progress and as I change, so do my successes in life and business.

I am learning to be a better version of me. I am learning that a comfort zone is a dead zone. I am learning to love and accept others as they are and I am working on me every day. It really is life changing.  I have new goals, new dreams and new vision.

I have more hope, peace, love and joy. And it’s because I decided to take personal responsibility for where my life has been in the past and where I want it to go. Those are all choices we make.

It took me a long time to realize this. And to really start working on me. Success isn’t what you do or what you get, it’s who you become.

The late great Jim Rohn said this. “If you want to have more, you have to become more. Success is not something you pursue. What you pursue will elude you. Success is something you attract by the person you become. For things to improve, you have to improve. For things to get better, you have to get better. For things to change, you have to change. When you change, everything changes for you.”

So, my advice is to work on you. Working on me has been more rewarding than the business success. I am more confident, more compassionate, more sincere, and growing into the best version of me. I am not where I want to be yet, but I am so much closer than I was a year ago, even yesterday. I’m becoming more than what I was. So can you!

Work harder on yourself than you do your business and you will be unusually successful in all things.

Why You Need to Believe in Your Product or Service

Why is it important to love your product or service? 

If you are in network marketing already and have your own business, I have a couple questions for you. 

Do you love what you promote? Do you believe in it? Do you have a passion for it? And are you using it daily?

These are important questions to ask yourself. There were a couple different companies in my 9 years in Network Marketing that I did not really care for their product or service. I felt like either it didn’t work or was not a good buy for the money. Now, how in the world was I supposed to get anyone else to buy anything if I did not believe in it myself. That’s huge. I just gave you a huge nugget for your business. I did not believe in my product or service and it showed up in my sales. I bet it does your too, either your belief or unbelief is showing up in your sales.

Do you believe in what you are promoting and do you love it? I sure hope so. I hope you are in a company that you can believe in, that you are proud of, that you can stand behind, and that you use the products daily. Or if you offer a service, not a product, I hope you use that service yourself. Because if you don’t it will show up in your business.

I am in health and wellness, and I totally believe in our products and I use them every single day. That’s important if you want to be sincere and really help people and work with integrity. If you don’t believe in it, and if you don’t love it or use it, that will eventually effect your business. People will eventually be able to tell. Your business will suffer.

The other businesses that I was in that I didn’t believe in or love the product, wasn’t because the products were bad, it’s because I didn’t really try. I just wanted to make money. In my mind, it was not about the service or the product I was offering, it was just about making sales. Maybe that is where you are. Maybe you think you using the product or service you are promoting is not important, but it is so very important.

Belief affects our success. Not only belief in yourself, which is the biggest thing, and not only belief that the business model works, but you have to believe in what you are selling to be truly successful. You cannot truly speak with passion about it if you don’t love it or use it. Passion is what people buy much of the time. They hear about your love for it and it closes them on buying it. You cannot speak with boldness and strong posture if you don’t believe in it.

So you need to learn all you can about that product or service you are selling and find out why you should love it. Start using it as well. That’s the best way to find out if it is worthy of your love and belief. . And then, maybe you will fall in love with it and be more passionate about it. That’s when the magic will start to happen.

If you are not in a company and you are thinking about starting your own business, I would love to share with you what I do, because I fully believe in and love my products and my company. And I can say to you with boldness and passion that it is an amazing place to be. So if you’re in a network marketing company already, I suggest learning to love your products or service, if you can’t, maybe you need to be somewhere else. If you aren’t already in a business, make sure you choose something you can love and stand behind.

How to Avoid Distractions in Your Home Business

Do you get distracted easily in your home business and not get everything done that you intended to?

There are income producing activities and then there are distractions. Sometimes, you think you are running your business, but in reality you are letting distractions keep you from making money.

Most people, especially when they are new, have a job and have to work their business on the side in their spare time. So if that’s you, you need to make sure that the time you have to run your business is laser focused.

You need to be doing income producing activities and sometimes you have to ask yourself if the activity you are doing is going to grow your business and make sales for your business. If the answer is no, or I’m not sure, then most likely it is just a distraction.

Things such as scrolling Facebook constantly, that’s a distraction. Now, can you grow your business using Facebook? Yes. But scrolling and watching cute videos and reading how someone’s day went is not going to grow your business.

Something else we do is let other things get in the way of running our business, which are excuses. We say things like, “well I just don’t have the time because I have to get home and make dinner and bath the kids and feed the dogs and put up laundry“. Whatever the excuse may be. We all have made them. I’m not saying neglect those things. I’m saying that if you want your business to succeed you have to not let those things take away from your business time.

So if you can only work your business one hour a day, that hour needs to be laser focused on your business, with a plan of action and a schedule for each thing. Your family needs to know your schedule so they can work around it as well, and you need to stop letting distractions keep you from making money.

My advice is to get a planner and schedule your time. Schedule activities within that time frame that are income producing activities, and use that scheduled time to be laser focused on your business. You will thank yourself later when you are able to leave that full time job like I did. It’s a very freeing feeling.

How to Get Your New Distributor Started Right

OK, so maybe you are excited because you signed up your first distributor into your home business.

You made a little commission.

You got their order placed and everything is all good, right?  But what’s next?

Where do you go from there?  How do you set them up for the best possible chance at success? Because that’s what you want right? Them to succeed which helps you to succeed. Watch this video for tips on how to get your new person started the right way!

Most network marketers have no idea how to bring new people into the business properly. Most network marketers have no clue on how to start someone off with the right steps. And many times because you don’t know what to do, you either give them a huge list of things to do which overwhelms them, or you give them no steps to take at all, which confuses them.

Both ways usually end with the new distributor fizzling out quickly.

I was reading Go Pro by Eric Worre again this morning as I was doing my Miracle Morning routine, and

Chapter 9 he talks about this very thing, how to get your new distributor started right. I have read this book before, but these never really hit me until this morning.

Funny how that happens, huh? We read something and it doesn’t stick the first time. And when we read it the next time, it’s mind blowing. That’s why it’s so important to listen to personal development and read personal development books over and over. Our brains can’t catch it all at once.

So, anyway back to the book. Chapter 9 is about the “Game Plan Interview”. The Game Plan Interview is something Eric learned from a mentor in the industry and he implemented it into his network marketing company. And guess what? It worked.

So I want to briefly give you some points from this chapter and my take on it.

Game Plan Interview Part One:

  • Validate their decision to become a distributor by saying congratulations! I agree that this is huge. People need to hear approval and they need to know others are excited for them. Making someone else feel good for the decision they just made garners you credibility. They trust you more now. Always validate your new distributor’s decision to take charge and stepping up.

 Game Plan Interview Part Two:

  • Set their expectations. YES! Most people come in with unrealistic expectations. So make sure they know their success is dependent on their work ethic and their willingness to do what they need to do and follow directions. Make sure they know up front that it is not your job to make them successful. Their success or failure is their choice. They need to own that. Let them know you will be there to guide them, but never to do it for them.
  • Promote Independence. Let your new distributor know that you are there to help in the beginning and there as a guide and resource from then on, but the goal is to get them doing the work without you. You may need to do a few 3 way calls, or teach at their first party, but after that, they have to be willing to step up and be the leader of their own business.
  • Be Up Front About Their Excuses and Doubts. Every network marketer goes through times of doubt and fear. Many get stuck over the fear of rejection. Many get stuck on excuses as to why they can’t do what they need to do. Make it clear up front that these things happen to all of us at one time or another. Make sure they know there will be ups and downs and then ask them if they give you permission to hold them accountable. Ask them if when the doubts and fears start coming in and they are making excuses as to why it isn’t working, can you remind them of why they got started in the first place and hold them accountable.

Game Plan Interview Part Three:

  • Getting started checklist. Of course each company is different and different people choose to promote different ways, whether online or offline, by phone or by email. But depending on your company, create a checklist. The checklist should include being on the monthly autoship. This is important for any serious business builder to be using the products they are selling and committing to that monthly amount. If you are in a company that has samples, samples should be on the list for the new distributor to be handing out. Things such as how many hours they are willing to put into their business, company website info and login information, Facebook groups they can join, webinars coming up about your business, upcoming training events and seminars  needs to be on the checklist, comp plan overview, the invitation process, and other things that pertain to your specific company.

 These are all great steps to take with your new distributors as they come on board. It also needs to be the day they start if at all possible. I’ve done some of these things, but not all, but I am implementing the rest immediately for my new distributors. You should too.
