Screw It, Do It

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a network marketing training conference in Orlando. This event made a huge impact on my mindset to say the least. I realized there have been quite a few things holding me back in my home business. Much of that was fear of people. Fear of what people will think. Fear of failing again. Just fear.

One of the speakers who has been in the industry 40 years, Jeff Altgilbers, said something that has stuck with me all week. It’s so simple yet so powerful. Screw it, do it. When you are afraid: screw it, do it. When you don’t want to approach people with your opportunity because you think they will think you’re stupid, or a scam, or pyramid scheme, or whatever. Screw it, do it.

We have to learn to just do it afraid if we want the kind of success that will impact thousands of lives.

Watch this video on the power of decision.

There are 5 things that are necessary to succeed in a home business. Watch below to see what they are.

I hope this was valuable to someone. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

Consistency Will Beat Motivation Every Time

Are you always motivated to work your home business?

Do you always feel like doing the work?

When you are not feeling motivated, do you start to slack?

Most of us lose motivation quickly. I know in the past, I have started new things and I have been so excited, but the excitement fizzles out kind of quickly and I lose that excitement and in turn, lose interest in whatever project I was doing. Excitement fades.

Did you know that 90% of home businesses fail? Did you also know that statistically if you don’t start working your home business within 48 hours of signing up, you are much more likely to quit your first month?

Wow. Has this ever happened to you?  It sure has me. I fizzle out quickly.

What I have learned over the years in network marketing is that consistency is what will keep your business growing and keep you from quitting. Not motivation. Motivation and excitement can only go so far. They fade. But consistency in your home business, which means doing specific IPA’s (Income Producing Activities) every single day for your business, even when you don’t ‘feel’ like it, is what will keep you moving forward.

Below are 4 more short videos I did this week talking about IPA’s, going live on Facebook, consistency and getting to work in your home business. I hope they are helpful and give you a new vision for your business and for your future.
