Are you like me? Maybe you’ve been on social media for years, maybe you’ve even been in different home businesses over the years. But you’ve never ‘cracked the code’ to really make social media prospecting work for you. If that sounds like you, then read on.
It’s no secret that some people are making a ton of money using social media marketing. They are willing to give up some of their secrets, but not all of them. Do you blame them, seriously?
So the rest of us really have to take the bits and pieces of what those top earners give us and put them together the best we can. And maybe, just maybe, we may eventually crack the code and start making massive sales, but most of the time that is not the case.
However, it is completely possible though. It can happen. You can start generating daily leads online every day. In this blog post, I want to give you 3 things that have helped me, but I also want to give you a couple links to some training where some 6 figure earners actually give out some of their secrets.
First, let me tell you a couple things that have helped me tremendously.
1.Cleaning up your profile is vital to your success. Remove anything negative, controversial, political, dramatic, and salesy. That’s right. You have to remove all your crap. And yes, your posts promoting your product or service are crap. No one wants to see that. And no one wants to buy when pushed. Clean up your social media profiles and you will see a difference almost immediately.
2. Use a posting service to schedule your Facebook posts, tweets, Instagram pics, Linked In posts, Google+ posts, etc all at once. Saves serious time and energy. I like Buffer and Hootsuite, but there are others. How it works is you schedule your posts ahead of time and have them sent out via these services all together. So much easier than posting on each one of your social media profiles yourself everyday. And you can schedule them weeks into the future. So, take two hours, get you some posts together, sign up for one of these services, and then set it and forget it. I like to do mine 2 weeks at a time. I take 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon and schedule all my posts to all my profiles for the next two weeks. Easy peasy.
3. Follow people in your niche and then send them a private message. Find people who are following people that you follow. If you are in network marketing, maybe you want your audience to be people who are in Eric Worre’s audience or Ray Higdon’s audience. Go to their pages, find out who is commenting and liking their posts, then follow those people. (Just click the follow button on their profile. Not everyone has this enabled) Once you follow them, send them a quick message saying something like this. “Hey John, I saw your comment on Ray Higdon’s page and agree totally, I thought I’d follow your profile. I am always looking for like-minded people to connect with.” Then wait for a response. Don’t send a link at this point. Don’t try to tell them about your opportunity. Take this time to just ask a couple questions and connect with them as a human being, without ulterior motives. Then during the convo, if you see a need, then ask if they are open to hearing about what you do. That’s it. Simple stuff.
