Your Home Business Will Probably Fail.
That was mean wasn’t it?
But the truth is that 90% of all home businesses fail. Would you like to know the difference in the 10% who succeed and the 90% who fail?
Today I want to give you the scoop, the 411 on why most people fail in network marketing. Surprise: It normally has nothing to do with the comp plan, the upline, the products or services, the company or the personality of the home business owner.
That’s right. Even us introverts can succeed.
EXCUSES! That’s it. People give a lot of excuses as to why they fail in business and make a lot of excuses as to why they can’t do what they are supposed to do. But usually, they fail because they give up. They let fear creep in, fear of rejection and fear of failure. And they aren’t willing to step outside of their comfort zones and do what it takes. So they quit and make excuses, such as “My upline wasn’t supportive enough”, or “I don’t know enough people”, or maybe they say “I just don’t know what to say” or “I’m not comfortable around people”. Those are bullcrap excuses. Complete and total bullcrap.
Do you want to know how to be different and stand out from the rest? The answer is to stop Blaming. Stop Blaming. Take responsibility for where you are. Stop blaming your customers for ordering one time and then quitting, stop blaming your team for never doing anything, stop blaming the economy, stop blaming the market for being over saturated with your current business, and stop blaming your upline. The facts are that some people are making a killing in the same exact business you are in. There are two possible reasons why.
- They have been in longer. If you are new, you can’t get to the top in a day. Maybe they’ve just been in the game longer. Possible
- Or most commonly and more likely, they threw out their excuses. They didn’t let excuses and fear keep them from getting to the top. They were consistent even when they didn’t feel like it and they pressed on even when it seemed like it wasn’t working and they took personal responsibility for their lives.
What do you do in your business when you “feel” like it isn’t working. Do you quit and not do anything? Our feelings get us in trouble a lot. Stop going on your feelings and just trust the process. Trust the process.
Another big issue I am seeing people not do is follow up. Follow up is the key to success in business. If you approach someone once and then never follow up, you will most likely lose that sale. The fortune really is in the follow up. So I encourage you today to toss out those excuses, get consistent in your business and then follow up with all those leads of the past. If you do this, you will see a shift in 2018 compared to 2017. Try it and see.
So, stop listening to your feelings, do the work, kick out the excuses, stay consistent, and take responsibility for where you are and where you want to go. The choice is yours.
