Could You Be The Reason You Are Failing In Your Home Business?

Are you in a home business and struggling to build a strong team and struggling to find people who are willing to do the work without excuses?

Have you ever heard someone say you attract who you are? Well, it’s true. Not what you want to hear? Sorry….too bad.

I’ve heard multiple leaders in this industry say that, “To attract positive people, you must be a positive person. To attract powerful people, you must be powerful. To attract committed people, you must be committed. Instead of going to work on them and trying to change other people, you go to work on you instead.”

You work on becoming the person you want to attract. The truth is, if you attract negative, whiny and complaining people to your business, that most likely means you are negative, whiny and complaining most of the time.

I don’t know about you but this was VERY hard for me to accept. We don’t want to take that look in the mirror. You know what I mean, that real deep look at how we really are.

We want to think we have it all together, that we are positive, caring, humble, consistent and committed to our businesses. But the truth is that if you are attracting those kinds of people, you probably need to take a look in that mirror.

I had to and I wasn’t happy about it, but it prompted me to start taking steps to make a change into who I really want to be. You have to ask yourself if it’s worth staying stuck in your business. Or are you willing to look in that mirror and start making changes?

Many people have extraordinary dreams but a person cannot attract to themselves that which is greater than the way they see themselves. To lead a team in a business, you have to start seeing yourself as a leader, changing some things so that you act more like that leader you want to be, and then take massive action toward your goals.

Until you begin to think and act like the person who has the things you desire you’ll never attract those things or those people to you. So start thinking and acting and speaking like that person you want to be and the types of people you want to attract.

For most of us, life is only hard because we believe that it is. Life will continue to feel hard to those who believe that it will. You do not attract what you want, but what you are. Proverbs 23:7 says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”

How we think determines our actions and our actions determine our path.  So if you want to take a different path than you’ve been taking so far, then start with changing your thinking. Anyone can do that. It’s called personal development and a mindset shift. Choose to think differently today.

When you change, your results will change.
